BF Upgrade Waitlist UPDATE
Back in January, I posted questions about using miles+cash to upgrade to BF. I received great advice and wanted to post an update. I know that several people have asked about waitlist timing so I will add my experience.
The first upgrade on my domestic segment cleared a few weeks after being put in the waitlist. My business first segment upgrade cleared approximately 36 hours before departure which was about 6 months after being put on the wait list. Since booking, there have consistently been 10 to 12 seats open in first but never any R availability.
