Lounge access?
Hi all
Was hoping that your experiences and knowledge will be able to help me with a quick query.
I am travelling at the end of June BFS-EWR in business class, and then onward EWR-TPA in economy - will I be able to access a business class lounge during my time spent in EWR?
Many thanks for all your help that you can provide
Woody

Yes. As an arriving BusinessFirst customer you will have access to the Presidents Club lounges in EWR. The club between the C2/C3 piers has showers if that's on your agenda. Otherwise both the facilities in terminal C are pretty similar in terms of amenities.

Thanks Guys,
Your help and clirty ismuch appreciated.
It is quite a long layover - perhaps you could recommend somewhere to have dinner near the lounge/gate area? I suppose the selection of food inside the lounge is not large and mainly cold snacks?
Thanks
Craig

There's a new sushi place near C120 that looks pretty good but I've not eaten there. I probably will on June 29 if I know my wife at all. There's an outpost of the Oyster Bar (serving all sorts of seafood, not just bivalves) at the top of the C1 pier and Ruby's Diner (farther out C1, to the right IIRC) gets pretty good reviews. The only time I ever dined at the Gallagher's near C120 I regretted the decision.
And then there are many fast(er) food options scattered throughout the terminal.

Correct. Think chips and cheese & crackers, not real food.

Here are a couple of options for dinning in EWR - look at terminal C;
You cannot bring in outside food to the lounge.

Hotel prior to flight
Sorry guys just one more question - under amenities for the businessfirst passenger, it lists an optional hotel for the evening prior to your flight. If this an extra optional or is it included as part the service/ticket?
Thanks

Where are you seeing the hotel thing? I've never heard of such being provided and I don't see it in a quick scan of co.com.

Im thinking maybe the OP saw an upsell ad during booking? I dont recall seeing something like that myself but I tend to mentally block out those ads on co.com. There are those various hotel ads shown when viewing a reservation, but none mention anything about BF that Im seeing on my current reservations.

I have an upcoming trip ARN-EWR-IAH-PNS.
First leg is BF, second in F and last in Y (yay ERJ!)
I realize that at EWR I will be an arriving BF customer, but will I also have lounge access in IAH on the same day?
On return trip I'm pretty sure I will have access (well have been in past).
Thanks
