Status Change - Timing

I just reached *A Gold. Does anyone know how long it takes to get your *A Gold cards and updated CO luggage tags?

Another question, is that if I hit 75k for the year, does that get me any additional benefits or is that only when you are Platinum on CO/UA?

Thanks!

75k gets you plat on CO. 4-6 weeks for gold elite package and PE package.

But you can print out your card now on CO. It will work for all PCs (though they could've looked you up) and RCCs and US Clubs (for the lounge access perk when traveling internationally).

It might work for LH, AC and other *A clubs, but many want to 'swipe' a card.

The RCC at HKG let me in with no *G card in Feb (even though it was too early in the morning to call home and check my status) when I was flying on NZ in Y.

I was surprised at the unexpected outbreak of common sense.

See above. The RCC can see your status directly on their system, so no need to see your card.

Other airlines ask for your card out of "common sense" by the way - there have been plenty of people who gained access to lounges in the past with expired credentials because on a large number of airlines, the status is "frozen" at the time of booking unless the FF # is updated.

Keeps more seats available for the rest of us

Congratulations halpie97 ^ you can always to update your FT profile details right away, and maybe the good karma will help expedite your credentials.
