Is this routing allowed?
Since CO does not do one-way rewards, I was wondering if I can book 2 round trip tickets instead. I'm trying to do some inter-island travel while in Hawaii.
Reward 1
HNL-LIH 2/22
LIH-HNL 3/2
Reward 2
LIH-OGG 2/26
OGG-LIH 3/2 (arrive earlier than the LIH-HNL flight from Reward 1)
I'm not a FF at all so that's why I ask. Also, I'm not set in stone on this routing; I just thought it might be a good use of mileage. I could just as well book the normal HNL-LIH-OGG-HNL routing with cash.
Thanks.

link your account to a UA one, move the miles there and book the 1 ways.

In general, what is the number of sectors are allowed by the computer at CO OnePass per redemption ticket? I had no problem increasing the sectors from 8 to 9 but when I try pushing 9 to 10, the agent said the computer can't calculate the tax and that has to be done manually. Then he came back saying the routing was not allowed due to region-hopping. However it was clear that wasn't an issue with the 'computer' as my 9 sector ticket was hopping around exactly the same regions...
