As usual....newbie question that might be second nature for y'all.
We wanted to go to Bonaire in Feb, but was only able to get a supersaver pass outgoing, and easypass coming back (instead of 35K miles, it was 42K I think).
I found it I was able to get the supersaver (35K round trip) in December. We are trying to decide if we wanted to get 1 ticket and then buy the other, or just blow the miles on this trip getting both tickets. It would be nice to wait 2 more months before making a decision.
Do the capacity controlled flights...."sell" out quickly for a December flight (ie one that is 8 months away)? I know this is a vague question and a magic 8 ball might have a better answer...but thought I would try the pros before the 8ball. @:-) Or at least maybe more experience with using their miles on flights (this will be our first one)
Thanks!

The Saver level awards are one of those things that if you can get what you want you should. No one really knows if they'll still be there tomorrow, much less 2 months from now, but odds are against it in most cases.
Beyond that, if you are not elite then the EasyPass awards are also capacity-controlled, albeit at a much higher level. You actually run the risk of those disappearing, though that is less likely to happen this far out.
