Booking with wrong billing address?
Good day, I have found a decent fare with CO BUD-SAN, but the website is unable to proceed my payment due to fact that Slovakia is not on the drop down list in billing address. I am already used to the insignificancy of Slovakia, but unfortunately my backup options (Austria, Czech republic) are a no go.
The agent on the phone was unable to confirm me if putting a fake billing address will cause any issues with ticket, as I found the workaround solution via paypal. The price quoted by agent is already adjusted to Euro, so price should be the same as I was paying in person.
Has any guys of you any experience with wrong billing details in your itinerary?

Try it with an alternate country and see what happens. As long as payment clears, CO doesn't care.

If CO wants business from us expats, then it darned sure ought to have our countries listed so we can enter our credit card details!
Paypal for some reason will not allow you to use AmEx to buy plane tickets. I despise Paypal and only list one card with them, which happens to be Amex and I am NOT going to list any other, and CERTAINLY NOT a bank account!
see www.paypalsucks.com So that is not a workaround for me.

The story continues. I paid via paypal, but apparently paypal processess all the payments in USD. Because my reservation has been converted to Euro, paypal withdraw from my account the Euro amount in USD causing e-ticket not to be issued. (if it passed, it could be a very decent fare
)
After today's call a miracle happened. The agent told me two options: to pay via paypal again, after she converts the amount to USD or she takes my CC details over the phone if it is CC issued in Europe. (The agent I was doing the booking with, told me I need to pay in person
)I went for the second option, no issues with Slovakian billing address, the payment went through and was confirmed by agent. After waiting for couple of minutes and e-ticket not being delivered I checked my account and found out CO took precisely $1
Way to go CO
And for the billing address it can be even Mars - as it was said as payment clears CO doesn't care
