New PC in in SDQ

I was surprised to see this, but when I was on the PC page on CO.com, a PC lounge is now open at SDQ.

I was surprised because they opened it as a PC (as opposed to a RCC), and because they opened a new club in SDQ.

Really? We need a club in the Dominican Republic as opposed to places like MIA?

I took a look at Copa's site, and it looks like they have 4-5 flights a day to PTY, so they may be the driving force.

This is definitely driven by Copa, but SDQ is probably CO/CM's highest-yielding 'normal' Caribbean market, PAP excluded.

SDQ isn't looking too shabby. Actually that's a pretty nice looking PC. Even nicer if Judi is working. One more PC on the list that I need to visit.

I saw a new lounge construction a few months ago, walked by the PC Yesterday and got really surprised. Hopefully they start accepting Priority Pass members, so I can ditch the AAdmiral's club.

What do you mean by normal? I would think POS would be highest yielding judging by the prices I have seen on that route.

My guess is that the LAX-HAV charter does pretty well
