Is something like this allowed?

I am going EWR-DFW tomorrow with a return on Thursday. Then on Sunday I am going EWR-LAX LAX-OGG.

Dallas is supposed to get hit with snow Wed/Thurs so say I get stuck there till Friday. Will they make me go back to EWR for a day and then back out, or can I begin the trip to OGG from DFW? The 2 trips are 2 seperate reservations

... I doubt it would work - there are just too many rules being broken.

Your option from DFW would be DFW-IAH-LAX-OGG which is too different from your original flights.

But hey, who knows - you might get Superman/woman who has the magic fingers to re-route like crazy - good luck ...

You can always ask, but most certainly there is a low probability of switching things around before they need to.
