5k Bonus Miles for Adding a User
Recently applied for and got the Continental OnePass Plus Chase credit card including an offer for 5k bonus miles for adding another user. A few days ago I went ahead and added another user to the account over the phone and got the additional user's card in the mail yesterday.
Does anyone know at what point the 5k bonus miles are awarded? Is it when the user is added to the account and the card is sent out? Do the miles not get awarded until the card is activated? Or do they only get awarded after activation and a purchase?
