PresPlat upgrade priority
I've been a bad boy... I was snooping around the galley and reading the final while waiting while lavatory was occupied. The upgrade priority order was one plat, the one silver then 4 pres plats. I thought PresPlats always have the highest priority. Is that because the silver passenger may have bought full Y?

Only Elites of any level who bought a Y/B (and M for Platinums) would be ahead of Pres Plats right? If, for example, a Silver Elite bought a H class ticket, and a PresPlat bought a lower fare such as W, the PresPlat would be higher on the Priority Upgrade List than the Silver, correct?

See this post by CO Insider, in the thread 2011 OnePass Program Changes:
What isn't spelled out is whether fare class or elite status comes first, in ordering RUs, SWUs, and MURs on the upgrade standby list. Please ask CO, and report back their answer. Or ask yourself, "What would Jeff pick?"
At 24 hours before departure, we will prioritize expired waitlists for Regional Upgrades, Systemwide Upgrades and Mileage Upgrade Rewards ahead of all complimentary Elite upgrades, including those that would otherwise book into ZE class. This is a change we implemented only in the last couple months to ensure our Elite Upgrade Automation properly accounted for these customers with expired upgrade reward waitlists within 24 hours.
