Help with an Award
Hi, I'm trying to book a Continental Star Alliance award and they are telling me it is not a valid routing.
I've used the ANA to find availability, the agent could see it, but he couldn't book it. Said it "wouldn't price" He talked to his supervisor who said it wasn't a valid routing. When I asked him what he meant he had no answers, any advice? Thanks for your help. btw you can book this routing on the Star Alliance website, as well as on United by going through NRT. Award is in C class.
ICN--KIX on Oz
KIX--BKK on TG

This is a CO miles question (every program has different rules for *A awards).
Maximum permissible mileage ICN-BKK is 2743 (from ExpertFlyer). Your routing is 3120.
Suggestions are to look for availability on a nonstop or possibly book two awards via Japan if it's worth it.

You could also look for the 1stops on TG through TPE or HKG.
Not ideal, but it will get you there.

I'll move this to the CO forum as it's a question about the use of the OPs miles there.
