Discrepancy between PDA site and CO.com?

Discrepancy between PDA site and CO.com?
So this Saturday I'll be flying CO1 from IAH to HNL on a B-fare.
I waitlisted the miles to upgrade several weeks ago, but it hasn't cleared. I figure that they are waiting to release seats until the flight gets closer. I've been watching on CO.COM as the seats dwindle down. (This is according to the Seat Selection tool for the waitlisted segments. The available seats show up as orange, but still unselectable.) For the past few days, there has only been one seat available (3K), and it still shows that way on the website.
However, now that it's within the 48 hr window, the flight is showing up on the PDA site. They are saying First is Full, with 6 people upgraded.
Is this likely because the seat is blocked for some reason? Crew rest or a broken seat perhaps? The PDA site is saying the F capacity is 20, instead of 21. I realize even if that seat opens up my chance at the UG is pretty small, since I'm currently only a Gold (Although this flight will put me over to Plat). I'm just curious why there is the difference between the two sites.

Seat maps are not an accurate representation of loads, especially as you get to the last few seats available on a flight. In addition to blocked seats there are also potentially ticketed passengers who do not have seat assignments.

Flightstats is indicating that CO #1 on Saturday, 13-Nov is sold out F0Y0.
If you don't get upgraded, go for a bump.

Now this is interesting...
T-24 hours, I received the e-mail notifying me that waitlist has expired. Interestingly the first paragraph says :
Well, that's kind of obvious, given that I'll be on an ERJ for that leg. But they never mention anything about the IAH-HNL flight (although it shows up in the itinerary listed below that paragraph.)
Even further, I do the OLCI and receive my BPs, but when I go to the PDA site I am not listed on the standby list. I was under the impression that they automatically add you to that when the waitlist expires. Should I call the OPSC/Elite Line or just wait and mention it when I get to the airport?

Unfortunately, we cannot confirm your request for an upgrade on Norfolk, VA (ORF) to Houston, TX (IAH - Intercontinental). You will be automatically added to the upgrade standby list when you check in for your flight.

Well, looks like I missed out. 
I got auto-added to the standby list when I checked my bags at ORF, at #1. I stayed at #1 until we backed out from the gate.
They actually ended up overselling First; they were offering refund to the lowest coach ticket the day you purchased, free cocktails for the trip, and a $1000 travel voucher for one of the first class passengers to downgrade to a seat in coach.
Still, looking forward to the PC/RCC in HNL.

Saturdays are the most difficult for upgrades to Hawaii.
