System Wide Upgrade Progress
Hi,
Today I noticed the following (Red):
OnePass Elite Level: Platinum
Star Alliance Elite Level: Gold
Year to Date Elite Miles: 82,337
Year to Date Elite Points: 56.5
Year to Date Revenue: $7,710.00
Lifetime Flight Miles: 455,190
System-wide Upgrade Progress - I reached only 25% on the scale (can't seem to copy paste it)
I'm less than 18K away from the 100k needed for a SWU - why is it showing that I am only 25%?

Seems to be the progress from 75k to 100k miles that is being tracked (at least that was the speculation...not sure that it's been fully verified), e.g., 85k should be 10/25=40% (but it never seems to be right for me).

I'm glad the OP brought this up. I was wondering the same:
OnePass Elite Level: Platinum
Star Alliance Elite Level: Gold
Year to Date Elite Miles: 92,414
Year to Date Elite Points: 103.5
Year to Date Revenue: $8,743.00
Flexible Elite Miles: 1,000
Lifetime Flight Miles: 212,937
System-wide Upgrade Progress
It's showing about 70% on the scale, so that would make sense I suppose if it is only tracking from 75K-100K, but the OP said he was only at 25% on the scale, and only has 10K less EQM's then me.

This question keeps popping ups, so it evidently confuses a lot of people.
Your progress towards SWU is -33.6% = 100x(66.6-75)/(100-75)%
(i.e. minus 133.6% away from 100k, when the starting point is 75k).
Imagine the confusion negative progress would generate if CO posted it.

Right... Percentage refers to distance between 75k and 100k.
This question keeps popping ups, so it evidently confuses a lot of people.
You can easily work out your percentages.

If you are closer to the SWU goal by EQP's rather than EQM's (as for me), the website makes a comparable calculation based on the distance from 90 to 120 EQP's. It confused me for a while too, until I figured it out.
I suppose the algorithim works it out both ways and then posts progress by which ever method has you closer to goal

It's certainly confusing. But the important thing is to keep your eye on your total EQM counter. We know that hitting 100,000 miles works just fine.

I happen to accrued over 100K for 2010 during the latter part of the holidays and the mileage was posted to my account yesterday (Jan 2nd). By then, all the 2010 mileage progress gauges have already been reset for 2011. Does anyone know where I can verify whether my SWU was indeed issued? I can't seem to find where that is in my continental.com profile. Thanks.
