Does anyone know where i can find the link about moving up one elite status with a credit card. i think i saw a link here some time ago around summer time with an offer of jumping one status level with signing up for new card

The CO card doesn't give you an immediate jump up. It only makes it easier to get there with 1000 Flex EQMs for every $5k spent. It does get you there but only if you use it and need a handful of points. Semi-misleading ads.

There have been a few reports of targeted sign-up enticements that also included a tier bump but they wouldn't be of help to the OP unless they were so targeted. Otherwise it really is just about the flex EQMs.
