But when surveyed about which they would prefer to have, most passengers still choose IFE over internet. That's why I say I'm atypical.

I have read that DL suggests its GoGo service is doing well financially and generating substantial marginal revenue. I will find that and include it in a future post.

Since an airline like DL has free AVOD and pay WiFi, so they've covered all their bases in terms of entertainment amenities, and as long as the pay internet service is generating revenue, I think it's the way to go.

And let's not forget that CO is the only carrier in North America to charge for base IFE.


Honestly, I really don't watch that much of it. I've listened to the XM enough to konw when to expect certain songs to repeat but mostly I'm reading Kindle or listening to my own music.
Fair enough. As you know, I fly a lot of jetBlue...my favorite LiveTV experience is waching a major live sports event on the plane and cheering with the other passengers...
