I have not traveled much on SFO-EWR recently. During the spring I stayed in Y once (W fare).... and was upgraded twice on M fares.

In all fairness to do those who are reporting greater success upgrading on this route, it should be noted that, compared to two or three yeas ago, CO's fares for transcon have increased vertiginously....

While one used to be able to buy an M-UP fare for the $500-600 range rt, no you're looking at forking out at least $1,500-$1,750 for a guaranteed FC seat...with the higher prices, there are fewer takers and it's actually possible to find EWR-SFO FC inventory, albeit limited, without having to search months in advance...

Do you really think that I get my rocks off by coming on to FlyerTalk and lying about my upgrades? Seriously?

I see the inquisition has begun.... and I spot clearcut evidence of witchcraft here... who has 36 hours in a day?

Now who will demand proof that that this email was not fabricated... clearly it was edited.

May I propose we we move on to more constructive issues?
