Impossible Upgrade from IAH to CLE
On the 1015 tomorrow and usually go threw EWR without an issue ever getting upgraded.
For some reason I booked a return threw CLE and see bottom 7-10 on the list and am almost at 125k miles this year.
I've taken this flight 4-5 times this year already and always never upgraded.
What gives?

usa18dca correct -- CO's aggressively marketing F.
YBMup's, upsells, etc. all take a toll on the cornerstone benefit of the elite program.

I cannot stand this connection.
16 first class passengers followed by 30+ elites, the cattle heard to board is ungodly.
Never again. IAH-EWR always an upgrade, smaller elite list.
