Q Fare rules
A few months i took a bump on US Air and got a $400 voucher, and booked a ticket with it from BOS to SFO. I flew the segment last night on a US Air ticket, but flight was operated by UA. I am a CO Plat and always use my CO account for mileage credit.
A gate agent told me that since i booked with a "voucher" and that because I was traveling on a Q fare, that i would not get my millage credit for this flight. He said it was the same thing as redeeming miles for a ticket. I dont buy this - does anyone know if i will get the Mileage on CO for this?
It normally takes a few days for a mileage credit to show on my account, but i am wondering in advance if i will need to push for this.
Thoughts appreciated!

A United Q fare should earn 100% EQMs and 1 EQP when credited to CO. Ditto for a US Q fare.

Thanks for the response. But do you still think this the case even with a US Air voucher/credit from getting bumped from a previous flight?

If it was a dollar amount voucher you should be OK. If it was a "round trip domestic flight" voucher then you'll likely get nothing.
