The state-side option - really the main bulk of this year's event - will begin on Wednesday evening in IAH with dinner followed by an event with CO (and probably UA) on Thursday morning before the charter flight and tours on Friday. You are welcome to join on Wednesday night, Thursday morning or Friday morning. You could even potentially meet with the group in PHX and just do that and the charter to PAE but there will not be a discount for that.

It is possible to do most of the event with only two days away from work - Thursday and Friday.

And if you live in IAH and just want to come to the FT Awards dinner on Thursday night there is that option, too, but that will be a different thread.

I see pricing on LX and OS to get to FRA. For those taking the LX or OS what's the add on for the return to IAH on LH or CO in Y and Business?

thanks

Half of the return LH FRA-IAH-FRA fare (for LH, not sure about CO)

Unlike the CO Dos there is a cost to participate in this one. You will have to pay for your seat on the charter flights that we'll be taking all day on Friday, November 5th to participate in the events with Continental. It will also include events with US Air in Phoenix and with Boeing in Everett, Washington, home of their wide-body assembly plant.

Yes, I did say charter flight. We'll have a plane or two - CO metal, likely a 753 and an additional 753, 738 or 739 depending on demand - chartered for the day on Friday. But that's after we have a full day on Thursday with events sponsored by Continental. It is going to be a blast. Oh, and if you really want to splurge there's also the option to head over to FRA on Monday night for some partying with the folks from Lufthansa.

Registration just opened up last Friday so now's the time to show your interest and reserve your spot. Check out the thread in CommunityBuzz or the event website for more information.
Thank you for this helpful post.

The events at the 1st StarMegaDo were a gas. Have already signed up and sent in my deposit for SMD 2, USA events only.

Highly recommended.

PS - Glad you posted about it here, sbm12.
