e-Miles Promotion
What is this e-Miles promotion I received an email about? Looks like I get a few miles for agreeing to receiving junk mail or spending time reading commercial messages.
Anyone actually participate in this actively?

I signed up for it, and it seems to be more effort than its worth considering how few miles you get at a time. It took me almost 3 months to get the minimum 500 miles needed to transfer them, and thats counting the 200 or something miles that they give you for signing up. It just takes a while since each offer usually only gives you 5 or 10 miles. I'm not bothering to continue with it, but the miles did post to my CO account so it is legit.
I haven't gotten any junk mail as a result of it, other than the few packets of tourist info you can sign up to receive. If you decide to do it just make sure when you sign up for each offer you don't opt in to receive any additional information. I would imagine if you did you'd get bombarded with junk flyers and pamphlets.

I've only gotten one 500-mile redemption out of it since the offers are only worth 5 miles. You can get more miles if you actually follow through on the offer (which usually requires some being spent). It takes a long time to get to the 500 minimum but it takes no longer than a minute for each offer to just click a few boxes.

Agreed. I signed up to keep an account alive (AA, I think, or maybe US) but with the myriad of other ways to easily earn miles at a decent rate this one doesn't seem worth it to me.

e-miles sucks, eRewards is much faster to get worthwhile rewards, and many more valueable than miles on airlines.

I got a $50 gift card(no discount card etc, outright gift card) multiple times.
