Miles Upgrade Question

I recently booked trip for 2 on CO from EWR to PUJ and the class was "S". If I look at my reservation under my Onepass account and go to the Upgrade Reservation online it shows both myself and spouse. For upgrade to "Z" class it says each leg would be 15,000 miles and then there is a seperate check box for entire trip | 15,000 miles. Not sure what that means or how that works. I almost look at that as saying for roundtrip upgrade to business class it would be 15,000. Now for the real stupid question. Would that be just for myself or both my spouse and myself? The way it reads or looks it shows both of our names checked and listing those miles. I have never used any miles before and only have 55K to burn so thought this would be a nice time since I really don't travel much.

Thanks in advance!

Hi, boltsnow...welcome to FlyerTalk. Interesting handle, by the way. Must be a story there somewhere...

Mileage upgrades for each leg of an EWR-PUJ trip are 15,000 miles per person. There seems to be a common glitch in the section where the entire trip upgrade is offered; if you select that option, the correct total would be displayed. In your case, it would be 60,000 miles for both people for the round trip.

The interactive reward chart is here, by the way.

Thanks for the info Bonehead. Seeing you're from Colorado not sure if I should say the meaning behind the name but I'll say this......I'm a football fan. Well, the 60K is more than I have. Unless I could also use my fiance's miles along with mine then we would have enough. She wants me to save the miles for when we go to Spain but would hate to save it not be able to use it. We can usually get airfare for about $900 or so. She has never been in first class so I figured this would be a nice gesture. Thanks again!
