Work Hard, Fly Right

I will miss the Work Hard, Fly Right CO company slogan. Do you think United would ever use this.

channa Apr 30, 2010 8:22 pm

It's time to fly right?

TWA Fan 1 Apr 30, 2010 8:23 pm

Goodbye CO

Perhaps as a gesture of tribute to CO, the slogan could be modified to read:

Work hard, fly right into the sunset...

What about the internal employee chant, "Rah! Rah! We're the best!"

Do you think UA will use that too?

Sure...

Tiger Woods said he had no right to act entitled. You're not Tiger; what's your excuse?||~+|

Maybe you can give us your excuse...for making such a ridiculous comment

Ridiculous comment? More like a fair suggestion. Wouldn't hurt to step up the quality of English in this forum a bit ;)

Yes. Until the merger dust settles it will be Work hard, Fly hard.

The death of your tired refrain can't come soon enough... NJDavid reincarnated!

Odds are the very same attitude will pervade UA as well, since CO folks will likely comprise much of the leadership at new UA, including the boss of bosses. Will it be okay then?

The iconic signage (white lettering, blue background, gold border) will probably go to history's dustheap along with 'Work Hard, Fly Right' and the livery....

How could it possibly remain if the carrier will be rebranded United?

If old signages remained, things could get pretty confusing. The current Continental would have to called Texas International Airlines-Continental Airlines-PeoplExpress-Eastern Airlines...

Of course it can't - - just being preemptively nostalgic.
