Also, don't pretend like you don't like this lounge, too...

The free drinks are better, as I noted. But I still don't get the obsession with going out of your way to get there. Especially not a 20 minute bus ride just for a free drink.

The food is also better (and no, I am not refering to the noodles).

Hell, the public food court in T3 is reason enough to hop over. T1 is so lacking.

Nice to see that a shuttle is back. There used to be one from near the US gates that was withdrawn a couple years ago for some reason.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread but is the bus still running on a 20 minute schedule or are they doing more runs back and forth?

Just thought I'd come back and update this.

The bus is now running "on demand". They wait for customers and will run the bus for them. Much easier for connections.

SFO PC Club agents told me yesterday the T1 lounge closes in 'early 2011,' by which they mean before June.

I'll miss it.

What happens to the ATL club, if anything?

I'm sure there will be a club location at ATL. The ATL PC is often quite crowded. A lot of it probably depends on where the gates end up, and I've not seen any announcements regarding the ATL gates. UA has a good location in terms of being close to the main terminal (the gate area itself is a dark, windowless dungeon), but there's only three gates there. CO uses about four or five gates out in Concourse D. The closed UA RCC in Concourse T is also much smaller. Neither location really has enough space for the merged airline.

DCA is a similar situation as well.

CO is moving to T3 on 5/10/11, so no more need for a shuttle!

I wonder if they'll maintain the shuttle for UA/CO<->US connections...?

Is the Elite boarding sequence the same for the bus as it is for the plane? Is there E+ seating? I can't find the seatmap on seatguru....
