CO PC Timetable & Win7

Has anyone been able to install and run the Continental PC Timetable on Windows 7? I can get it to install but it crashes with a run time error when I fire it up. (missing or non-registered file)

I used to use the tool with no probs when my box was XP. Now that I am running Win7 Pro it wont work, which is a shame as I used to like the program.

I know I could run it in a virtual XP enviroment as I have to do with some of our proprietary work stuff, but I really didnt want to fool with that.

Hadn't even heard of this, but just gave it a shot on Win 7 Home Premium. Installed without an issue and runs great.

I would recommend that you uninstall it and re-run the installation making sure that you run it as an administrator. The easiest way to do that is to right click on the co.exe that it downloads and choose the Run as Admin option.

Hmm... I have unistalled and reinstalled with the same (lack of) results. My logon has full admin rights. I will try the run as adminstrator as you suggest.

Mine actually forced me to install under Admin as it had the little shield on the .exe, but I did the run as admin right click thing anyway.

One of the flight paths of the runways goes directly outside my window and I'm currently trying to match up possible flights with landings.

ok i repoed the issue on my win7 machine. to solve it, you need to run the timetable app itself as an administrator. (Right click the short-cut -> run as administrator). You can also right click->properties and under compatibility check Run As Admin so you don't have to keep doing this manually.

Fixed!

^^^

Thanks to all! The running as an adminstrator thing, both on install and run properties fixed it. It runs fine now.
