Which 757?

Hi! Just a quick question. I am looking at a possible booking on March 15th.

LAX-EWR on CO1703 and
EWR-BCN on CO120

in KVS it says "757" as type of aircraft. I see some "752" listed as well, but no "753". So is it correct to assume, that these flights will be on a 757-300? Would be baaaad news

757 only normally means 757-200, not 300. Those are not typical 753 routes (in fact BCN is not a 753 route AT ALL)

When Continental says "757", it means 757-200.

737 = 300
735 = 500
73G = 700
738 = 800
739 = 900

752/7 = 200
753 = 300

762/7 = 200
764 = 400

772/777 = 200

Hope that helps.

LAX to EWR can be flown by either the -200 or -300.

EWR to BCN will only be flown by the -200. CAL doesn't use the -300 in any ETOPS segments (across the Atlantic or to Hawaii).

This one is not used in any public schedules that I'm aware of.

Actually for CO "767" refers to the 20J/236Y 767-400 which is used by CO MICRONESIA. "762" is the 767-200 and "764" is the standard 35/200 767-400.

Thank you guys! So looks like I'd have AVOD and in-Seat Power. Very good!
Maybe JOSECONLSCREW28's List should be part of the FAQ?

Seat width is slightly smaller than in UA Economy, big problem?
