CLE & DEQMs
For all of you CLE-based folks looking to take advantage of DEQMs, have a look at ERI - SFO/LAX. Same day trips are available for under $275. SFO is best as it does not require the redeye return at get you 9,000 EQMs.

move to MR if needed, but PHX has a pretty decent deal also. phx-bos-phx, available with same day return for $178 or $218 AI. $.044 per mile RDM or

I was looking at this earlier today. ERI-CLE-LAX-CLE-ERI on 12/13 (redeye back) for $230 all in. If you are already elite, 10,212 miles (8,612 if you aren't).

I've found PIT-SAN for $188++ It routes via IAH or EWR...

PIT-LAS 12/15 (same day return) $240 a.i. 4883 eqm x 2 = 9766 with DEQM
pit-las 12-14 ret 12/15 $240 a.i.
I always see similar or lower fares cmh-las, pit-las, or eri-las. (almost always lower than cle-las) lowest is occasionally cmh-las $158 a.i.

Has anyone seen any same day / redeye return trips out of IAH that look appealing and cheap? I only need a few miles to secure Gold before my Christmas trip with the Mrs., and I'm cutting it so close on the 50K EQM's that one extra flight would help me sleep better

set outbound to IAH, and then click "north America" and possibly "central America" as your destinations. you can also filter to search only CO. i search CO, UA, US.
they're sorted from cheapest to most expensive, but its cost per mile. so cheapest is in the $400 range (.06 per mile), but its iah-hnl. gives 7k+ miles before the DEQM. the least expensive All in is a US flight to den, $166 all in, but cost per mile is .09. gives 1766 miles, but no DEQM.
the cheapest all in on CO is $212 iah-lax. youll get 2778 miles + DEQM.
