EUA still having problems?
I'm just wondering if the EUA system is still having problems running automatically. I'm booked on the 5:50am SAT-IAH flight on Friday on a 739. I expected to get the upgrade this morning and it didn't come through. I'm NOT complaining that I didn't get the upgrade, but I AM wondering if I should call to be sure everything is ok. I split the reservation last week and when I got the email confirmation, my ff# wasn't in the email, but my friend's was still in his. Any advice?

Coupla things
I'd be more concerned about the FF# being on the rez than EUA's functioning. For the FF I would call.
I fly ex SAT all the time and there doesn't seem to be much consistency in terms of how and when the EUA processes. One thing that does affect availability is whether or not there is a big convention in SA that draws lots of road warriors.

I have posted about the subject quite a bit. But I did receive EUA for an upcoming Friday morning flight at 5 day EUA time this morning. This flight had "R" availability before EUA time.
On a later flight I did not get EUA - as expected - since no "R" bucket available and F appears to be sold out.
It appears to me that EUA is working properly now. Did you check to see if "R" bucket was available before the EUA time?

We both got EUAs at the 5 day mark for Thursday on a 735 and last week's 73G EUA'as also came at the 5 day mark.

Yeah, when I look at the reservation it's in there, but it's odd that it's not in the email confirmation. My friend's silver status was reflected in the confirmation for his half of the reservation. Why wouldn't it show in mine? Also seems odd that there was plenty of "R" inventory for the flight and no luck of the upgrade.

There are still problems with the EUA system. I had a trip this past weekend and Friday AM I still has not received any upgrades going or coming back. I called the elite line to ask if there were any issues with my reservation and the agent confirmed that there are ongoing problems with EUA. She upgraded me on the spot for all of my flights, so calling is prudent if you haven't received an upgrade and you think there are seats available for upgrade.

Thanks to all for their responses. My SAT-IAH upgrade came through this morning for Friday's flight, so everything seems to be in order. Unfortunately, the connection is IAH-PIT on an ERJ so no upgrade there. But I do have 12A, so it's definitely not all bad...

Just got my EUA for Friday IAH-SAT, outbound looks pretty full and first leg of return is on a route that rarely gets EUA despite my Plat status.

My last couple have happened sometime between the 48 hour mark and the 24 hour mark. Not sure why this is, but so long as I get EUA rather than Battlefield, I'm happy.

Appears there could be a problem (even though I posted above that all was OK).
After my 5 day EUA on Friday am flight, we purchased a second ticket a 4 days out. R was zero'ed out for the next morning EUA - so as expected no EUA. But then it open that night and has remained open the last two morning when EUA should have cleared.
Second ticket for also for a Plat and on a higher fare code than mind that cleared at T-5 days. EUA should be running, but it isn't.
I wonder if there is a problem with the EUA software in that if CO has R available, then if they zero it out anytime during the T-120 hour to battlefield time - that it fails to run when R is reopen with more seats????????
We both got EUA at T-120 for return flight on Monday, but the outbound should have cleared for the second ticket purchased at T-4 days.

Which means "R" was available leading up to T-5 days. I am starting to question if EUA has a software bug if CO decides to zero R during the 5 days cycle and re-enable it - say next day or some hours later????
