It's doubtful there will be much Star connecting traffic at DTW. The vast bulk of it will be O&D, so being in different terminals isn't much of an issue.
It is an issue if you want lounge access and don't want to buy an SC membership if you have a lifetime PC membership. |
I also asked this question in DTW on 10/31 and got the same answer from a GA: Feb/March, 2010 CO will move to the North Terminal.
For those that take the evening DTW-IAH flight or the 5ish flight to EWR, the LH lounge is fantastic and open daily 3.5 hours before the LH flight. I'll take this lounge any day over a lame PC/RCC. PC membership or *G domestic or intl * itinerary gets you in. |

There should be a new one in DTW now, given that Lufthansa has now moved out of the McNamera Terminal to the North Terminal. Lufthansa and Royal Jordanian moved to the North when it opened last year.

So, What everyone is saying is that there is a *A club (Lufthansa) in North and domestic CO *A Gold can access it if flying say DTW-IAH on CO?

There is a curbside shuttle. As far as I know, that is the only way to connect between McNamara and North terminal. No transportation within the security zone exists. This is why CO will have to move at least some of its gates to North. It's just not feasible to make connections between McNamara and North.
