I've never tasted the old/new cheeseburgers even though they've been served on quite a few of my flights lately.
It's not because I didn't *want* to try them.. it's just that the current TSA rules prohibit carrying onboard the necessary explosives/power tools/machete required to dislodge the bun/plasticized cheese-like resin mixture from the plate.....

What day were you flying? I was on IAH-LGA on 10/24 and had the cheeseburger as well. I was surprised that I got two tomato slices but only a half leaf of lettuce for my burger. Tomatoes are by far the more expensive of the two, wonder why CO did that.

This is really getting out of hand. For whatever reason, they ran a 764 IAH-DEN-IAH last Friday, and on the DEN-IAH leg (CO1098) the front cabin was filled with 35 cheesburgers! Oh, the humanity.
To make matters worse, what do you suppose they served on CO399 last evening? You guessed it.

Now let's talk about something serious -- why is CO now putting mushrooms IN the omelets now? The ones on the side were easy to pick around but this embedded in the egg thing brings CO's use of fungi to a new .
If I ever meet one of the members of the Congress of Chefs I'm going to throw a mushroom at their head. Could they pick a more polarizing foodstuff to put in just about everything? I'm surprised they aren't garnishing cereal with mushrooms.

I'm not a huge fan of the CO cheeseburger, but nothing could be worse than that thing they tried to call a Ruben that actually had fried onions on it. I'd rather have two servings of whatever soup they have. I've always found the CO soups to be very good.

The Cheeseburger was tasty the first time I had it. Couldn't be beat.
As time goes on, they are getting old fast. Perhaps CO intends to make it an occasional thing.

CO served cheeseburgers on my IAH - SEA flight last weekend. They were so popular that they ran out of that option at seat 3B on a 757-300. I was in 3 E
