Problems with automated flight arrival system

This problem is STILL happening on CO automated flight arrival voice response system

It caused me to waste a trip to LAX a couple of months ago thinking my friend (arriving from EWR) was arriving on time, when in fact, he was delayed several hours.

CO Flight 1502 - EWR to LAX - arrives 10:18 PM
CO Flight 1095 - IAH to LAX - arrives 10:33 PM

Let the system know you do not know the flight number.

You want ARRIVAL time.

The flight is arriving into LAX

The flight is coming from Newark

Let the system know the approximate arrival time is 10:40 PM

If you do this, the automated system will let you know the flight status of flight 1095, and conveniently (?) forget to mention that this is a flight that originates in Houston IAH, and in fact you are looking for flight 1502 instead!!!!

Can someone direct me to where I might complain about this?

thx

I've found flight status on airline websites notoriously inaccurate, or pure works of fiction. I use FlightAware.com.

It's amusing to compare flight status on an airline website vs. one of the flight tracker sites that have the ATC data. On airline sites, flights are never delayed and always arrive early.
