CO 9892 Code share with EK
Hi
I am hoping that someone has flown on CO9891/2 which is actually on EK metal. I have gone to CO.com and they quote a return first/business fare fom IAH/DXB with CO portion being on a CO 772 to LHR and the the codeshare with EK on a 388 to DXB in first. Is this right or should it be been in actual business class? of course I hope it is in First with shower etc. Thanks for your help.

the booking class is Z. Which i know on VS is Business or upper. Same on the EK codeshare?

While I hope I am wrong, I highly doubt it is EK first. CO updated their fare codes recently and as such I think there is some resulting confusion.

star_world is correct. Z books in business for EK, which in their configuration of the 380, is located on the upper deck behind the First suites starting at row 6 rearward.
FYI, due to the assymetric configuration of the EK business cabin, the BDGJ seats have less room than the AEFK ones do.
Also, the left window seats (i.e. A) tend to book up first because of the extra side storage compartments, and also because the right (i.e. FGJK) aisle tends to have more foot traffic because of the location of the lavatory (especially in the front part of the business cabin).
