Post Security threat at IAH

Sitting on my plane as we board flight 667 for Seattle and boarding stopped and jetway pulled back due to a security threat.

Anyone have any idea what is going on?

Captain just came back on, saying no more news was given about the security breach so we are all just sitting at the gate, waiting to finish boarding so we can get going

From multiple reports on Twitter:

Apparently, some guy blew through security. Passengers aren't allowed to gates C14 to C27 or E12 to E24.

Why is the TSA so incompetant that they can't tackle a guy. Having to shut down a whole airport for something like this is ridiculous.

From my understanding, TSA has no power to detain. They can only alert real policemen to the problem.

Yep, somebody skipped security screening at C. Heard about it through an acquaintance who has been tweeting about it, including pictures of the mess in C right now.

Can you post the pictures or their Twitter handle to check it all out?

Correct. Still, ridiculous that they can't control the space that they're in charge of.

"FREEZE, because I yelled it"

"STOP, because he yelled it"

this is dangerous though, could be used as justification for LEO powers for the TSA....it's all a conspiracy!
