Ok, now we have established that the Freddies have been cancelled, and that the news is official, any further discussion of this subject should be carried out in the ORP thread linked to.
This thread is in Communitybuzz! and is on the subject of dhammer53's do.
Thanks for your co-operation with this. If you chose not to co-operate with this request - well, you've been warned

Well, I interested certainly. Will not commit until later though.
I'm hoping that we can come up with an online vote so we can once again discuss some winners and losers and why they should or should not have won at this Do.

Don't tell Missy.
Truth be told, BRT will take place sometime in June 2010. I usually announce the date in January or February. Since I'm telling everyone BRT 10 will be the last one, I'm using this new DO to segway into v2.0. We'll see what sticks.
It seems appropriate, now that the Freddies have come to an end.

I'm doing a partial run through the plan in the first post this Saturday. I want to see if it works (especially the NYC Transit Museum and the Brewery tour).

I'm starting the first annual in honor of The Freddies DO.
Where: New York City
When: April 24th, 2010. This was the same weekend as The Freddies.
Here's how I envision the weekend...
April 23, 2010. Arrive New York City - possible dinner plans.
April 24, 2010. Saturday.
Meet at a central location in midtown Manhattan aka NYC.
Visit the NYC Transit Museum in Brooklyn.
Visit the Brooklyn Brewery.
Walk over the Brooklyn Bridge (not sure which way yet).
Walking tour of Little Italy/Chinatown, and maybe Greenwich Village
Visit the World Trade Center area.
Take a free ride on the Staten Island Ferry.
We'll lunch along the way.
Dinner will be a sit down at a restaurant to be named later.
In keeping with the theme of the Brooklyn Reality Tour, I'll try and work this out to be cost reduced. You can forget the $75 steak dinner. I want as many as possible to attend, and not worry about cost.
