Thank you to those of you who made the DO! The lunch, winery, and dinner were all yummy!
The winery was very nice. It was in the middle of nowhere, by a river, so the scenery was gorgeous. The winery offered six complimentary tastings per person, then they were $1 per after that. The wines were 15% off for 12 or more bottles. After that, we drove into Abingdon and had pre-dinner drinks at the Withers Hardware Company Restaurant. Then we walked to the Tavern for dinner, which was very good as well. We all had the wild Pacific salmon. All of their fresh fish is flown in, never frozen. I apologize for not making it... My intentions were there, but I was up wayyyy late and just couldn't get out of bed to make it. Depending on what uva185 said... Well, there was a woman involved... "Exit stage left" was the keyword. LOL! :D
