Bumping for RSVPs. I need yes or no from those who expressed interest so I can plan the meals.

I'm out, I get back from the UK the weekend before & am traveling through PHX two weeks later. I really want to get back to this area of the US, just not going to happen this time.

Thanks for your efforts.^

Hey Sweet Willie, I was looking forward to seeing you again. Don't know if I will be able to make it to the PHX DO as I need to be in IND that Sat and I already have my GNV - IND res. :( If DL let's me change without charging me the price of the ticket I will try to make it to PHX. Take care.

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry9630/4.7.1.40 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/105)

Would anyone who is attending be interested in a winery tour & tasting?

I'm also intrigued by the Tennessee caves activity mentioned in the first post.

I'm really going to try to make it (non-rev) at least for the lunch. Quite frankly right now it's not a problem, but I bet I'm going to be looking at a full flight.

Scoow can tell you about my Atl adventure:D

I doubt it! Who flies to TRI on a Saturday morning unless it's NASCAR weekend (which is this weekend, not that weekend)?

I have selected the lunch venue and it's highly recommended by everyone I've talked to. It's local and yummy.

One activity after lunch on Saturday, April 10 will be to visit the Abindgon Winery: http://www.abingdonwinery.com/home.html Since I am now a true "wino," (manage travel for a winery and a wine brokerage firm) I'll definitely go to this.

I e-mailed them and confirmed they are open from 10:00 am - 6:00 pm. We can all just drive up after our BBQ lunch.

Someone had suggested visiting caves/caverns, so I propose this as another possible activity: http://www.bristolcaverns.com/index.html Below is the info. The website says to call for prices.

Bristol Caverns
Open 9:00 am - 5:00 pm; tours every 20 minutes and last about one hour
1157 Bristol Caverns Highway
Bristol, TN 37620
423-878-2011

If some want to do the winery and some the caverns, but not both, I'd be happy to lead the winery group.

scoow Mar 22, 2010 7:13 am

I'm sorry, but I will not be able to make it. I was really looking forward to the weekend. :(
