Welcome to FlyerTalk

You just missed the annual FlyerTalk Brooklyn Reality Tour by a few weeks. We tour and eat our way through Brooklyn led by tour guide DHammer53 (who will be in San Francisco this weekend). Maybe you can join us next year. PHOTOS HERE.

The posting style on FT is to bold-face user names and nobody will have the slightest objection to you putting yours all in caps, but everyone will write it that way.

So, you can expect that as a matter of routine your name will be written as "IAMTSA".

I am guessing that your name stands for "I am TSA". If, so, do you work out of JFK or LGA?

(BTW, Canarsie -- and I -- are both transplanted Brooklynites.)

Thanks for the heads up on the posting style as for the name you hit the nail on the head with "I am TSA" I am in the candidate process now with the CC and Assessment next for JFK.

I had a feeling seeing Canarsie that was the case.

Good to see a few other Brooklynites here.

Hi there!

Please join the New York City forum. Unlike some others who may have lived in Brooklyn long ago, I live there now.

It would be nice if there were two of us in that forum. I will assure you of a warm welcome.

I had no idea TSA was so despised, it wasn't until I started the process back in June and began researching that I realized how much they need me. lmao

As far as taking the heat, signing up with this name alone I was prepared for the heat.

If the heat is an educated remark or response, and has some backing then fine. But unwarranted personal attacks and remarks are usually more of a sign of the poster than the person they are attacking.

We really don't know each other here on the net, and can only be judged by the content of our character once exposed through our comments.

I appreciate the warm welcome and look forward to some new friends and interesting debates.

That's not the case on FlyerTalk. A lot of us have met at events throughout the world, including the one in Brooklyn. If you want to stay anonymous and not meet any of your fellow flyers, that's fine, too.
