I'd suggest catching the FlyAway bus from Union Station to LAX.

Sorry, my post seems confusing when I re-read it.
The FlyAway bus is what I meant when I said "via Union Station".
Truxtons is within a few miles of LAX though right, in case I take a cab?

You can either take the Parking Spot Sepulveda shuttle to their lot and make the 5-10 minute walk to Truxton's from there or see if one of the locals can pick you up. I think I'll be picking up CMK10 at the United Premier check-in at Terminal 6 around 7-ish.

Maybe...
Please put me down as a "possible". I'll be in LA that day & am not sure if I can stick around for dinner yet...
As an FYI, Encounter is excellent (ate there last month). The Proud Bird is also a great LAX spot as well.

We've also had dinners at The Proud Bird; agree that it's a nice place. Encounters is fine (a tad pricey for my taste), but does present us locals with some parking challenges.

Hope you can make it!

Awesome; RSVP list updated!
I made reservations under my name (for those who know me) for 8 people at 7:30 p.m. If there are any others wishing to come, you are most welcome, but please let me know so I can adjust the reservation accordingly.

Thank you everyone for coming last night and especially FlyinHawaiian for his planning skills. I had a very enjoyable time with all of you.
As a last note, I'm writing this from SFO because I picked up a VDB last night.
- $300 in Travel Credits
- $15 Meal Voucher
- LAX Hilton
- LAX-SFO-PHX routing in F today.
With the double EQS promotion I'm thrilled.
