SFO this weekend?
I'm kicking around SFO this weekend for no particular reason. Airportville Friday night, downtown Saturday night. I know at least one other FTer will be around.
Anyone else up for drinks?

I'm around this weekend. Could even be persuaded to show my face for a drink or seven.

Well it's a picture perfect day by the bay. Took a run around the airport and am moving downtown. Any suggestions for outdoor cocktails this afternoon?

Zeitgeist (near the Mission) is a great dive bar that has a huge enclosed outdoor area.
Rulli in Union Square has beer and wine, IIRC. And there's always the Cheesecake Factory, which has a terrace overlooking Union Square.

I've never actually eaten at a Cheesecake Factory (the line's always outraegously long), but I like to take out-of-town guests up there for a drink and to enjoy the views from the terrace on a sunny afternoon.
After koko bailed on us, Beckles and I hit up a few more bars, including Cantina, where I got him to try the Laughing Buddha, possibly my favorite cocktail in the city.

Well, it turns out switching from beer at Foley's to wine at dinner at Aziza (which was incredible, we did the $55 tasting menu and quite frankly it was a bargain I thought) to whatever it is Mark was forcing me to drink almost ended me ... I'm almost back to normal now as we are waiting in OAK for a flight back home.
