Quote: whatever serves Kangaroo... still haven't tried it and I've been here 3 months!
people have told me that aussies don't like to eat Kangaroo because the meat is either tender or stringy and you don't know the result before the meat is on your plate.

I'm working until 12:30PM but can try to get across ASAP.

JerseyVics tried to join us (but just missed us I think) at the Shangri La Blu Horizon bar a few weeks ago. Our party moved down the road from there, straight to the Glenmore Hotel's rooftop bar.
Depending on the weather, that could be a spectacular lunch venue.
FYI, 'Sydney's best hotel rooftops' article

Let me know! I'd be there closer to 1.30PM, though.

NEW and FINAL meeting spot.
hi,

BiziBB suggested to go to the glenmore rooftop bar. i will be there at 13:30 which gives me more time during the moring to visit taronga zoo. (last time i was at taronga zoo i had to rush trough the zoo as i came there only 60 minutes before it closed).

looking forward to meeting you all.

excellent, see you guys at the Glenmore at 1:30pm then.

I'm meeting up some friends at the Botanical Gardens near the Opera House noon'ish so I'lll be in the city early... luckily I know what Chris looks like so I shouldn't have a problem meeting you guys.

Ben, I'm still surprised I missed you... I got to Shangri La at 7, I think you said you left at 8:30pm so you were there but I just could figure out which group of people were you guys.

Its all good!

It was three guys, one gal, by the window; hopefully you spotted the pics posted subsequently.
Luckily, CHCHKiwi and I got there at 5PM pening and snagged a windowside spot.
Our spot at the Glenmore is the 'good view side, second furthest from the bar.

I'm wearing a black winery hat from last weekend.

Thanks fozzyNUE for suggesting we meet.
I'm still amazed you're doing TWO trips in a month to Australia.

What a great day to be atop the bar, hanging out in the last summery weather of the year, talking about Cairns (and cars ).
It was good to finally catch up with JerseyVics - from the Jersey I know from TV.

It's great knowing we're all headed to Cairns next month. Something to look forward to, as Sydney gets chilly.

I'm looking forward to seeing you and CHCHKiwi in no time at all.

Cheers
BB
