I've also seen Glavpivtorg mentioned in a few places and would love to get together for dinner on Saturday or Sunday evening!
Personally, I've been looking into a city tour through Viator for either Sunday morning or afternoon. For our group, (Tchaka + 11) I don't think we have anything structured per se, just a general plan of doing Red Square/Kremlin on Saturday.

In order of preference, we would love to do a dinner Saturday or Sunday nite. We'd likely be up for other things, except for the theatre or ballet -- not desiring those on this trip. Moscow tour, beer or vodka tasting... all good.

Can we say mini-DO!!!
Possibilities:
Moscow tour to get the lay of the land (tour company undecided)
Tasty Russian lunch or dinner
Red Square visit
Theatre or ballet
Beer or vodka tasting
chanp and apoivre recommend Glavpivtorg as a great restaurant (see post #94 & 95).
Want to join? Thoughts or suggestions?

yea, what's new...I don't think the folks flying out on the 27th could make this tour right? I think it would be interesting to do it on the 24th (since the weekends are out), but our flight (UA) doesn't get in until 10:45am. And with customs and immigration and DME being aways out from the city ... is it possible to do Friday? (again ... for those coming in that day). Green -- are you on both my flights? 23rd and 27th?
Definitely Saturday looks good for breakfast and dinner. Will consider tours too. Thanks for all the organizing!^

as219 suggested a pre-flight lounge meet on 4/27 for those departing.
There are others not departing that day, that are interested in the ex-KGB tour on the 27th.
The ex-KGB visit on 4/24 is still listed per a PM I received, but will possibly be removed if they decide to go with the other group on the 27th.
