Because of some excellent fairs to HNL in May, I will be in town and think it would be appropriate to have a DO. Travel is less than $500 from MCO, BWI, NYC, IAD, BOS, DCA, DWI, IAH, DEN, lots of cities on the east coast, and lots of small airports in Illinois and Wisconsin. And the great thing is all three alliances seem to be matching fares on these routes.

The schedule is still TBD, but a rough outline so far is...
-5/9: Late Dinner around 9:30
-5/10: Yardhouse: 276 Lewers St, 12:30
-5/10: Dinner: Uncle Bo's Pupu Bar & Grill, 559 Kapahulu Ave, Dinner at 5:00, If anyone has been here before, let me know if it's decent. Good yelp reviews.
-5/11: Possible Lunch in Chinatown
Fly out in the evening of 5/11

Hotels
-SPG Properties: Sheraton Princess Kuilani, Westin Outrigger, Sheraton Waikiki,
-Hilton: Hilton Hawaiian Village, Prince Kuhio, Doubletree, Embassy Suites
-Hyatt: need to look up
-Marriott: need to look up
-Priority Club: Holiday Inn

I just booked the SNA mileage runs, why didn't you post sooner? Ah, but I leave on Sunday for HNL for 10 days, would love to do it again though.

AA fare is cheaper from the east coast than the west!

I have to see what my schedule looks like that weekend.

The fares look good from IAD and it is a great use of a CR-1

Put me down as maybe for dinner on the 9th or lunch on the 10th.

As posted in another forum, I'm trying to decide on where to stay. Hilton Kuhio or The Lotus at Diamond Head. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

bschaff1, what are your plans for the 9th and the 10th? Are you getting in on the 9th as well?
