Hoboken Flyer... at the rate things are going it looks like French Roast will host SOup Do 6. I should have a final answer by Thursday morning.

It will also be convenient for me since I'md oing a s noring run at the Westin JC *trying to get a free night or two to bank for an overseas trip in the next year.)

My UIG (Used Italian Girlfriend) and I had the pleasure of joining Catman for dinner. We ate (where else?) at Katz's Deli.

It looks like we're going to French Roast because it looks like La Bonne is hnot opening to mid to late June.

Major Update I've decided to stick with French Roast at the West Village because if you check La Bonne Soupe's website:

http://www.labonnesoupe.com

They now project a mid to late June opening. That means they won't be ready for us Friday.

I hope you like French Roast... they seem to have a compatable menu to La Bonne.

I'm also going to try to PM my cell number to the guests and please CALL French Roast if you are not going tomake it (you can call me as well.)

On another O-T note... Dovster... I really enjoyed meeting you and the UIG. YOu both had many interesting things to say and it's funny we ende dup at a "Kat" place (great food but the deli needs more Kat logo wear.)

I was just thinking about this weekend and I would love to say I can make it but last night I hurt myself playing kickball and while it's nothing serious it's somewhat painful to move so depending on how I feel tomorrow I may drop by if there is room.
