What we all do
If you've ever written an all too vague post describing some bizarre requirement of your job without disclosing the nature of your work, here's a chance to fill us in! I suppose the details are often left out because it would be OT in most threads but I'm sure there are plenty of us that are really interested in the strange professions of other FTers. I, for one, am sick of reading posts like...
"My job requires me to fly to 3 continents a week."
"My job requires me to pilot a yacht off the coast of Somalia."
"My job requires me to HALO jump to remote work sites."
...without an explanation. Let's hear it, what do you people do anyway???

You might find some of these interesting folks have posted in the "Who we all are" thread. Others may prefer to maintain online anonymity. A few might even be lying to "impress" us. 
But, many do have really interesting careers/hobbies/interests that send them all over the world or at least to interesting places like your hometown.

I agree.
The Who We All Are thread, which is one of the longest running threads on FT, probably fulfills this mission pretty well.
So we'll close this thread and invite anyone who wishes to divulge more information about their personal life to post in the original thread.
