Just noticed that I've been on FT for more than 10 years now! How many other Original Members are still here? What is the cut off for the designation?

I was #723 and joined April 1999. Catman is still around occasionally and I can't think of too many more of those of us that used to get together in NYC or Northern New Jersey in the early years that are still active from that part of the country.

I'm still here, both as regular member and as one of the three original mods.
kokonutz is another original member though known by a different screen name back then (Voldemort).

Maybe instead of hoping that Original Members will check in here, we should report sightings if we notice a post by an Original Member. I'm sure I've seen some recently beyond the ones named in this thread.

I just ran a search and found 535 original members. Some of them have not posted since the year they joined. But here's some familiar handles:
and then I got tired of looking.
It always makes me feel good when I see an original member post. The board has changed dramatically as it has grown so large. It's not the cozy small place where everyone knew everyone, at least by handle. They have adapted and continue to add value.
