Dresden, Dec. 7 - 12, Drinks/dinner
I'll be in Dresden Sunday December 7 to Friday December 12, prior to taking the train to the FRA DO on Friday. I'd love to meet up one evening with any FTers who might be in DRS, for dinner or drinks. (Not Wednesday 10.12.08 though, as I'm attending a performance of Lohengrin at the Staatsoper. It lasts 4 1/2 hours and thus occupies the entire evening. 
)

A bump, in case there are any FTers in Dresden who can join me for dinner/drinks.
I was able to attend a performance of JS Bach`s Christmas Oratorio in the Frauenkirche this evening. Interestingly, one of the soloists was The Evangelist.

Bundle up! I was in Dresden in November a couple of years ago and I was c-c-c-cold. Saw and H & M near the train station and bought a cap and scarf! But, I agree with SanDiego1K - it's a charming and fascinating town.

It is cold, but not bitterly cold like Toronto in the winter. I had a very pleasant day visiting the Art Gallery today (Gemldegalerie Alte Meister). Let me recommend the Hilton, which is right beside the Frauenkirche. As HH Gold, they upgraded me to their Executive Lounge. :-:
