I may have limited internet access in York and Newcastle the next two days. If you set up something for the evening I will be there. The only public wifi access I've been able to find is at the train station in York, or on board the train from London to York, which would cover me through early Friday afternoon. After that I may not have access until arrival in Edinburgh around 1pm on SUnday. (I get spoiled in the U.S. with free access at Starbucks and McDonalds with my home account). Doesn't work that easily here.

Tom in London off to York in the morning

I'll be there, as long as I don't get snowed in heading back from Engerland!

Cafe Royal has great food as well so 7.30 sounds good and will prob eat there too.

if it's Sunday this must be Scotland

Very fortunate to do a last minute dinner Sunday afternoon with Jenbel and Prospero at Loch Fyne on the Firth of Forth. I had the salmon, while they both chose the sea bass. Very happy with our selections. Great Scottish hospitality even included, at no extra cost, a mini-Cooper ride to the restaurant

Looking forward to drinks/dinner on Monday night. Only a few Edinburgh photos so far and they are HERE.

Thank you Rich and Jen for turning out tonight, and for the wonderful time at the pub. After my 6 hour hike about town today it was nice to sit down and have dinner and Scottish beer.

I went by during the day and took two exterior photos (one of many gorgeous buildings here) of the pub/cafe.

All of my Edinburgh photos are on line now and can be viewed HERE.

Hey Tom,

Yeah lovely to meet you! Hope you have a nice journey south. I love the train to London.

Enjoy your travels and maybe see you over in the bay area some time.
