The look is nice, but I don't like that it takes up so much real estate on the "My Flyertalk" page.

too big, too distracting and not enough "up front info". i'd rather have the option of "drilling down" if i see something that peaks my interest as opposed to drilling just to see if something is there which might peak my interest

I also like the bigger MyFlyerTalk button, I'm guessing a lot of users don't use this excellent feature. ^

I agree.

MyFlyerTalk, which has only been around for 4 years or so, is far, far and away my favorite feature on FlyerTalk.

I thought all the kind and gentle discussions in the forums you moderate was your favorite feature.

My observation as well. Perhaps it isn't any larger than before, but it certainly (as a function of the contrasting color) looks a lot larger on the page - annoying so.

Agreed. The page kind of reminds me of when you type a wrong url and you're taken to a random search page. I'd rather see the recent thread listing rows a little smaller so you could get more of them on there. And is there any way to adjust the time zone that shows up for them? They're 3 hours behind the timezone I have in My Profile.

On the plus side, I like the prominence of the My Flyertalk button.

Hhehehe

Get with the 'enhanced' FT - there are lots of undocumented features to explore, enough to pique the interest above and beyond a former club lounge. Kind of more fun than reading the same old stuff on a boring forum.

I am playing with thread ratings this week. Using the FT search for PMs of the past...

You're right though - most of the new features are rolled into My FT and we're only scraping the surface.

I can live with the new logo but what is next?

Its okay.

But I do think it needs something more ... like some green, a tad of red. Maybe scene of people standing around.
