Is there any chance of you getting out of Jerusalem during that period? If you make it up to the Galilee I would be very happy to meet with you and even Tel Aviv would be a possibility.

Loads of them. If you are Christian, then a trip to the Sea of Galilee and its various holy sites is a must.

If you are Jewish, you drive up to my kibbutz, I give you a quick tour of it, and then -- depending on the weather -- we visit Zefat, go to an Israeli dude ranch where they can go horseback riding, or they can actually do some ice skating in Israel's largest rink (in Metulla).

They are -- indeed we have a few who are members. However, if someone has only one day in the Galilee, and is Christian, I would think his time would be better spent seeing Nazareth, Capernaum, the Mount of Beatitudes, etc.

Sadly not much to do. We have the Hasmonean graves nearby and Naot Kedumim is a nice park nearby. Both would likely require a car. Like most other cities in Israel, the mall will be packed with activities for younger kids.

Modiin, between Jerusalem and TLV airport, is 20-40 minutes from Jerusalem, depending on the traffic and route. Plenty of public transport.
