FTers have been known to host and attend a DO for just about any reason: a good meal, opening of new terminal, specific location in the world, and a plane pull.

That’s right, you read it correctly, a plane pull. I am looking to see if there is any interest in people attending a DO, where as team of 15-20 people, we attempt to pull a 167,000 pound Boeing 727 airplane 12 feet to help raise money for Allentown District of the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) .

For the last three years, the MDA has hosted on the last weekend of September/first weekend of October their Annual Airplane Pull Challenge at Lehigh Valley International Airport (ABE). This event attempts to raise money to help find a cure for this neuromuscular disease.

I am looking to see if there is enough interest that we could put together a team (or two) for next year’s event. I will post more information about next year’s event as it becomes available. So if you are interested, please either post here, or send me a PM. I'm not looking for commitments just yet, just wanted to see if there is even any interest, that will wait until I get information on next year's event This DO is for the Fall of 2009.
