Spanair JK5022 condolence thread
Dear fellow Flyertalker,
The tragedy that happened today to SAS Subsidiary Spanair has touched many of us on the SAS board. Many FTers fly this route frequently, I have personally been on that flight many times.
Our friend SK_RSJ put it very well in a thread earlier today:
Many of us on this board are obviously deeply touched by this accident. Many of us have travelled on that flight and on that specific aircraft many times. And our condoleances goes out to the families and friends left behind.
The pax manifest is published on spanair.com now.
Unfortunately the official death toll is now 153. How sad.
I have spoken to our friends at SAS today and the whole SAS family are doing everything that they can to help the families and friends who had their lives changed forever today.

My thoughts and prayers are definitely with the victims involved in this tragedy as well as their families. While travel is a fun hobby for many of us, it's times like these that I can't help but look at it in a totally different light.

My condolences to all the victims & their families, but also all the airline personnel including SAS (of course) & those who were also on code shares like LH, etc, who were impacted by this. We do support you.
